July 01 在风暴中前行Today’s outcome came out as a big negative surprise to me.
My performance was extraordinary, but you cannot beat the external factor that is far beyond your control. Went to the Colorful Yunnan Restaurant today, had my favorite cross bridge noodles, I know this will probably be my last “luxury” lunch.
Went to the bookshop today, staring at my favorite book for a long time, was planning to buy it as a reward myself after the review, but now I have to forget about it. From now on, I have to aggressively cut my spending, and looking for other sources of extra income, in order to weather this financial storm.
Cost Reduction Plan:
Always bring your own lunch, unless there is a catch up with my best friends. No more beer, regardless how you love them.
No more drinks, although I cannot live well without Coke, Fanta and Fruit Juices. No more snacks, even I am a big fan of snacks in the afternoon.
No more luxury dinner, sorry my friends I’d love to catch up with you guys from time to time. No more discretionary spending on clothes, appliances, DVDs, etc, dear mates at Borders and JB Hi-Fi, you will not see my for a long time.
I am afraid I have to put my car upgrade and housing plan on hold.
Value Add Plan:
Do my best for the job, regardless of the compensation.
Do my very best to pass the FRM exam, undertake as many Kaplan education stuff as I can.
Improve my English communication skill, which is a key factor preventing me from having a better future.
Actively looking for alternative sources of income, such as tutoring, assignments, cleaning, etc... There is a wish, there is a way, despite the challenging outlook, always maintain a positive attitude! June 13 一语惊醒梦中人Life is all about Risk.
